Christian’s life-long interest in gardening provided the draw to the Community Garden at Oak Grove Lutheran Church. He was approached in 2015 by Pastor Christman and Tom Applequist about the idea of keeping honey bees at the community garden. The rest is history.

Tracy is an 8th grade science teacher and gardener as well. Helping out with the bee keeping is a natural extension of these interests. She considers herself one of the worker bees, helping with the apiary and all other aspects of the business.
