With a life-long interest in gardening, this provided the draw to the Community Garden at Oak Grove Lutheran Church. Having been approached in 2015 by Pastor Christman and Tom Applequist with an idea about participating in keeping honey bee’s at the community garden the rest is history from there.

As an 8th grade science teacher and gardener as well helping out with bee keeping is natural extension of these interests. Having participated in many of the same event’s that lead to this point helping with the apiary or other aspect’s of the business is never dull.
